This list is really helpful! I'm actually a firm believer in finding that perfect all-around comfortable/dressy walking shoe. A lot of the comfort shoe stores and shoe store sites have some great choices. They won't be cheap, and frequently run $100-200 a pair, but it's worth it not to have to jam stinky shoes in your suitcase! Heheh.
