Goblet shaped women have large busts, generous tummies, and broad backs. However, they have great legs and can look fantastic in the right clothes.

As explained in a previous article on dressing to suit one’s body shape, goblet shaped women are large on top but have narrow hips and enviably long legs. These women need to focus on emphasising those legs in order to look feminine and fantastic.

Principles When Dressing the Goblet Shaped Woman

Goblets need to dress to minimise their top halves, whiile at the same time emphaisising those great legs. They should wear V necks in order to make their top halves look smaller, and chunky knits or roll neck jumpers are definitely not a good idea. Women with this shape look wonderful in most trousers, and can wear slimline jeans very effectively. Their long legs look great in high heels, but slender heels may emphasise their top-heaviness, so shoes should have some solidity to give balance.

Casual Clothing for the Goblet Shaped Woman

Unlike most women, goblets look fantastic in tight-fitting jeans and trousers, so this is a look they should go for when buying casual clothing. They then need to work on making the top half look in proportion. This can be done by wearing V necks, or crossover or wrap tops. A three-quarter length coat will hide stomach bulges and tie the whole look together.

Smart Clothes for the Goblet Shaped Woman

Goblets can wear almost any skirt, with high heels to show off their slender hips and long legs. V neck tops and jackets nipped in at the waist are best for minimizing their top halves. Goblets look best is classic clothes, rather than trying to wear the most fashionable look.

A Party Look for the Goblet Shaped Woman

Again, the goblet should concentrate on drawing the focus down to her fabulous legs. A good bra is essential for the goblet, and ‘magic knickers’ to hold in her tummy are a good idea for special occasions. Then a dress with a scooped or V neckline is recommended. Gorgeous high heeled shoes complete the look.
