Furs are red-hot for the 2008/2009 winter season. Check out how the fashion models are wearing furs and how to incorporate sexy furs into your own wardrobe.

Want to know what's in for winter 2008/2009? That's easy! Just look for things that are warm and fuzzy - furs. Furs may seem like a thing of the past, but according to a November 2008 ELLE magazine article, "Add Some Hot Fuzz to Your Outfit," they're back and are hotter than ever. Furs are a great way to add some sexy elegance to an outfit, that's why you'll see fur as part of the fashion trends for 2008-2009. Here are the season's most popular fur fashion items that will work great in any wardrobe.

Boas

Add some excitement to your outfit with a '70s inspired Mongolian-lamb boa. This look works best when the boa is chosen in a bright, vibrant color such as teal or purple. Look for Mongolian-lamb boas by Tara Jarmon.

Chapka

If your style is more urban, then a fur chapka may be more to your taste. Chapkas are definitely a fashion statement that can be pulled off by the bold and confidant. Pair your fur chapka with a fitted jacket and a thick wool scarf wrapped around the top. This will help to balance out the weight of the hat. Look for Chapkas by Zuki Furs.

Vests

Fur vests are going to be very popular this winter season as they can be seen all over the fashion runways. Wear this must have item with a belt at the waist to bring the vest close to the body in order to create that hourglass figure. Look for fur vests by Natural Furs.

Stole

The stoles have been brought back from the past and revitalized for modern fashion. For a sophisticated daytime office look, wear a mink or sable stole with a sweater and tweed trousers. What makes this piece so great is that it can be taken on and off throughout the day. Look for fur stoles by Louis Feraud for Natural Furs.

Mufflers

The retro styled muffler is simply classical and adds a bit of flair to any suit or tailored jacket. Choose a muffler in deep, rich colors to add some sophisticated flavor to an outfit. Look for mufflers by Mitchie's Matchings.

Tote Bags

Bohemian with a twist, the fur tote bag will be another popular item this winter as it is so versatile. It can be worn casually with a pair of dark denim jeans and a knit sweater, or dressed up with trousers and a jacket. Look for Mongolian lam fur hobo tote bags from Pina & Gina.

Coat Collars

Rather than an entire fur coat, jackets with fur collars and trim are in this winter. They work well with the '60s retro style clothing that we will see a lot of this season. Look for fur collared coats by M Siamo.

Gloves

Gloves are an essential item for winter, but this doesn't mean they have to be boring. Gloves with oversized fur trims or cuffs look great with the popular chunky knits and three-quarter length sleeve jackets. Look for fur trimmed gloves by Harricana by Mariouche Ecoluxe.

If you love furs then you're going to love this winter season and you'll want all of these great items in your wardrobe. If you're new to furs, then any one of these items will make a great addition to your wardrobe. Furs will keep you warm in style this winter season.

Fur is outdated and boring. Every designer out there seems to be using it in their fashion lines nowadays.

Real fur is timeless. It's classic, practical, natural and beautiful. Nothing keeps you warmer and cleans-up easier. There is nothing like the feeling you get from being wrapped in actual fur. Once you experience it, you'll know it, and never turn back.

It's the faux fur that is outdated and boring. I can't imagine any adult actually wearing it. It looks like road kill and doesn't do a thing for warmth. Talk about a fad that should be a definite DON'T.

There is NOTHING more beautiful, glamorous and sexy than a gorgeous woman wrapped in real fur. Most faux fur looks terrible and is NO substitute for the real thing.

Fur for fashion is so not hot. The animal goes through significant suffering for you to wear its pelt. Wear faux fur, it looks the same and you don't have to worry about the pain that animal went through to make your little jacket!

Fake fur is hideous. Do people actually still wear that plastic crap?
Nothing beats the feel of real fur.

If you are against fur please do not wear faux fur.......it looks like rat and you're not fooling anyone. It's about your freedom to wear or not to wear. I love my fur....REAL FUR!
