A blend of historical fashions from the Edwardian to 1940s Post-War era rocks the runways this fall. Urban wear is going 80s and color-crazy with a touch of punk. Retro styles continue from the spring, and mixing and slightly matching is a fun way to express your fashion appeal.
Office & Casual Wear
A necessity in every working women's wardrobe is a mock neck blouse, a high-waisted pencil skirt and a cashmere suit. The new pants styles are baggy or wide leg adorned with a thin leather, patent leather or stencil belt. Other key items are wide skirts and jumpers.
There are way too many materials in right now to count: silhouette, cashmere, silk, wool, satin, nylon, polyester, heavy cotton twill, corduroy, lace, velvet and double weaves are materials that will be most sought after this season.
Popular Colors Patterns and Prints this Fall

Trendy Pants and Bottom Wear
By fall, everyone should own a pair of slim fitted jeans or tights. A color or print slim fitted jean with a studded belt is a cool style for a casual day according to the selection of jean displayed at the hottest women's clothing stores, such as Forever 21 and H&M.
"Skinny jeans, color denim and high- waist jean fashions are all over the place, said Kerianne Taylor from Forever 21 stores. "We are getting more items for the fall everyday."
Fall 2008 Casual Outer Wear
Sweater is better. When looking for the perfect outerwear to go with a flare patterned dress or an dress pant outfit, throw on a cardigan. The most popular sweaters are printed v-neck sweater vests, long wool sweaters with a belt:; anything sweater will do. Other items that are selling fast are corsets, blazers, cardigans and tweet jackets.
"Right now, it's a lot of vests, cropped jackets, fashionable sweatpants material jackets, button ups and trenches, said Lauren an associate from G&G clothing store in Woodbridge Center Mall.
Latest Shoe Wear
Funky footwear this fall goes down the line: tall boots, lace up boots, patent leather shoes, straps, gladiator heels, tall chunk heels and tall thin heels are all nice and sexy selections. Flats are compatible with dresses and skirts that are above the knee.
New Fall 2008 Urban Wear and Back to School Fashion Trends
For back to school wear, urban wear is a mixture of casual, close fitted attire, logo tees, layering and bright colors.
"We are going to be getting a lot of DCs and Nikes in all funky colors; that's really in style now," says an associate of Sheik. "We just got high top Reeboks the 25th anniversary in bright colors. They are selling very well."
"High tops... CDs... the old school is coming back, said Lauren, from Journey's, a store, which she says sells clothes for ages 13 through 22 for basketball, urban wear, skateboarders and clubs trends.
Accessories
Gold, handcrafted and antique jewelry, hats, long scarf, gloves, wide and thin belt, soft large bag, and berets.
Fashion will be big this fall for 2008, so look good, feel good and dress to impress.
