Stop "Muffin Top" From Happening to You!Find Out Which Regions are at Risk for Muffin Top
Learn to avoid these bra and pants blunders that are sure to sabotage your shape and your style.
Wearing ill-fitting clothing items, undergarments or otherwise, is one of the most common clothing- related mistakes that women can make. What’s worse is that it can age you by giving the illusion of poor posture, saggy breasts and a lumpy physique; and no matter what region of the body it occurs in, can turn an otherwise fabulous figure into frumpy. Bra OverhangThe unfortunate result of an ill fitting foundation, bra overhang is one boobytrap to avoid. In their book entitled What Not To Wear, authors Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine cite this as one of the biggest problems they have come across. What’s more is that that the two women revealed on the Oprah show that wearing the right brassiere can not only reverse aging, “but it can It can make you look 10, even 20, pounds lighter”! In addition, contrary to what one might think, while individuals usually equate this type of overhang with more curvy or robust figures, this is not the case. Women can have an ill-fitting bra, and thus bra overhang no matter what their size or shape. So what is the solution to finding a bra that fits properly? This can be done at most department stores or lingerie shops simply by making an appointment with a foundations specialist. Something as easy as finding your accurate bra size will give your posture and your profile a prettier, more feminine look instantly. Pants OverhangWith all of the publicity the term “muffin top” has received in recent years, one would think that fewer women would fall victim to this uncomely cousin of bra overhang; and much like bra overhang, pants overhang rarely has to do with the dimensions of the woman, as much as it does size and or fit of the pants. Whatever the case, there are hoards of women venture out into their daily lives sporting the wrong size pants. How can an individual tell if she has chosen a size which is too small? If zipping and buttoning her jeans creates a roll around the waist, chances are she is wearing the wrong size. To prevent such, she should consider wearing a larger size, a different style, or both. Cleavage in the RearOuch! A too-small pair of jeans combined with the wrong cut can give way to one of the most awful clothing-related mishaps of all time; rear cleavage. If a gal can’t see that she has rear cleavage, she should be able to feel it, it is probably so painful. So how can you steer clear of this unsightly snafu happening with your slacks? Get a pair of pants that fits. It seems simple enough, yet finding a proper fit is often derailed by the fact that many women think they must only wear one particular size of pants, no matter what they look (or feel) like. Ignore the size, and focus on the fit; and while a little décolletage can add allure and femininity to an outfit, it should never make an appearance in your rear.
