While a great outfit will get you far in the fashion world, a true sense of women's fashion demands attention to beauty and health, as well.

No outfit is completely separate from the hair, make-up, and skin that accompany it. Check out these health and beauty tips to keep you looking stylish and well groomed in every outfit.

  1. Get a good haircut. A good haircut is an absolutely essential element of style and fashion. Somehow, when your hair falls just right and seems to radiate shine, your clothing benefits, as well. While a good haircut may be expensive, it is certainly worth the price. Consider the cost as an investment in a happier, more beautiful body, and be sure to choose a cut you will actually be able (and willing) to style each day.
  2. Find the right make-up colors to complement your skin tone. A solid layer of cosmetics is not an essential component of beauty and style, but every woman benefits from a bit of mascara and lip and cheek color. Take the time to visit a make-up counter at your local department store. You may be surprised what truly complementary colors can do to your face and your overall style.
  3. Remember to moisturize. Nothing mars a perfectly stylish outfit more than dry skin and dandruff flakes. You should always keep your skin and hair soft and smooth. Exfoliating twice per week helps tremendously by removing layers of dead skin cells and revealing smooth, fresh skin beneath. The gym may not be on your regular list of destinations, but it's not yet too late for a New Year's health resolution.
